I’ve always loved to cook and share recipes with my friends and family. LLB is a great way for me to do that.
We live in Santa Barbara, Ca, where my husband Taylor is a pilot, and I get to make tasty treats all day!
We have two very spoiled and slightly fat pets. George, a Basset Hound and Hector, a black cat.
I fell in love with baking when I started making pies in high school. I got a job as a baker at a health food store and started experimenting more and expanding my skills. I love making anything that has a good, flaky crumb….basically anything with lots of flour and butter.
For the past three years, since Taylor and I got married, I have been doing more savory cooking than baking. Apparently, husbands cannot live on cookies and homemade marshmallows alone, so I’ve had a lot of fun learning more and more ways to make dinner. I’m blessed that he will eat anything (except brussel sprouts or shredded beets) which means I get to be as creative as I want!
So that’s mostly what you’ll find on LLB; baked goods and yet another recipe to make for dinner.
